Hi, My name is Ricky. I am a Graduate Sports Therapist, a World Champion Martial Artist and Instructor.

I am passionate about helping people with their injury related problems.

As a therapist I have given foam rolling as rehabilitation to clients who have admitted they have not done it as they didn't really understand the concept.

So I have created this online course which explains how and why we foam roll to help treat and prevent injury.

Foam rolling is a modern exercised used to prevent injury, and treat soft tissue. Foam rolling has become more and more popular in recent years due to the significant findings in sport science research. These are some of the physiological effects of foam rolling:

Lengthen/stretch muscle fibres, break down scar tissue and adhesions within the muscle mass, increase blood flow/circulation, Kickstarts tissue repair and creates smoother muscle tissue.

Soft tissue release, reduced muscle tightness, muscle activation, increase muscle growth, reduce pain.

Each section breaks down the individual exercises and shows you how to do them effectively.

Thanks and enjoy
